Going Where You Cannot Go

The nature of prayer is that it does not weaken or fatigue with use, but rather strengthens and matures.

List some of the places to which you, for one reason or another, cannot go. That list may include a physical location, perhaps for simple lack of transportation or for security reasons. That list may include a relationship which has gone sour. Your list may include seeing into the heart of people you love or the soul of people with whom you are not even acquainted.

Here is a simple but profound truth: He is present where you cannot go.  As you pray, you petition the One who creates and sustains all things. He is, according to His own Revelation, omniscient and omnipresent. He is one who yearns for your prayer. Your prayer reaches into places to which you cannot go. Your prayer is far-reaching!
